當時特朗普點到了路透社記者梅森,梅森起立向特朗普提問,但由於戴着口罩距離又比較遠,特朗普或許沒有聽清,他要求梅森將口罩摘下:“你得把口罩摘了,請把口罩摘了,你離我多遠?”

但並不是所有記者都像梅森這樣堅持,另外兩名記者在提問時就摘下了口罩,令特朗普直呼:“你的聲音聽起來真清楚,和那些拒絕摘口罩的記者截然不同。”
