據《華盛頓郵報》報道，拜登最近公開“吐槽”了前任總統特朗普。
拜登在接受美國哥倫比亞廣播公司（CBS）晚間新聞採訪時表示，特朗普就不應該接受情報簡報，理由是他有着“不穩定的行為”（“erratic behavior”）。
主持人問拜登，“如果（特朗普）繼續接收這些情報簡報，（你）最擔心什麼?”
拜登坦言，“我只是覺得，他沒有必要聽取情報簡報。給他提供情報簡報有什麼用? 他除了可能會失誤且説漏嘴之外，他還能有什麼影響?”
"I just think that there is no need for him to have the intelligence briefings," Biden said. "What value is giving him an intelligence briefing? What impact does he have at all, other than the fact he might slip and say something?"
此外，拜登還在節目中表示，“聽着，我拼命競選就是為了打敗他，因為我認為他不適合當總統。我看過其他人都看過的（內容），當那夥人入侵美國國會時發生了什麼。但我現在不在參議院。我會讓參議院做出決定的。”
"Look, I ran like hell to defeat him because I thought he was unfit to be president. I've watched what everybody else watched, what happened when that crew invaded the United States Congress. But I'm not in the Senate now. I'll let the Senate make that decision," he said.
