有時，我們會開玩笑地將“給你點顏色瞧瞧”説成“give you a color to see see”這樣的中式英語。
不過，如果你當真了，這麼對歪果仁説，可能真地會讓對方莫名其妙，會奇怪你為什麼要拿顏色給TA看。
在這裏的“顏色”，其實是指給“教訓”的意思，因此，最簡單和最直接的方式，就是將“給你點顏色看看”可以翻譯為I will teach you a lesson（意思是教訓你一頓，lesson可指教訓）；也可以更口語化，比如説I will kick your ass（也就是踢屁屁，胖揍一頓）。

Give sb a piece of your mind的意思“嚴厲責備，斥責（某人）”（tell someone what one thinks of them, especially in anger），也可以理解為“就是給她點顏色看看”。
