The Communist Party of China"s First National Congress opened in Shanghai on July 23, 1921, and closed on a boat on Nanhu Lake in Jiaxing, Zhejiang province. It marks the founding of the Party, and July 1 was later designated as the date to commemorate the anniversary.

1921年7月23日，中國共產黨第一次全國代表大會在上海開幕，最後一天的會議轉移到浙江嘉興南湖的遊船上舉行。黨的一大宣告中國共產黨成立。後來，7月1日被確定為中國共產黨誕生紀念日。
