“三美論”是許淵衝先生最早在1979年提出的一個詩歌翻譯理論，即意美、音美、形美。
意美：詩的意境要美。
音美：詩的節奏和韻律，人們認為詩句是帶有節奏的，要翻出它的韻律美。
