過洞庭二首
鄧中夏
莽莽洞庭湖，五日兩飛渡。
雪浪拍長空，陰森疑鬼怒。
問今為何世？豺虎滿道路。
禽獮殲除之，我行適我素。
莽莽洞庭湖，五日兩飛渡。
秋水含落暉，彩霞如赤炷。
問將為何世？共產均貧富。
慘淡經營之，我行適我素。
(1921年)
鄧中夏(1894—1933)，湖南省宜章縣人。先後任中國勞動組合書記部主任、中共廣東省委書記等。在上海被捕，就義於南京雨花台。遺著有《中國職工運動簡史》《鄧中夏文集》。
DENG Zhongxia (1894-1933), a native of Yizhang County, Hunan Province. He served as the director of China’s Labour Combination Secretariat, and the secretary of the CPC Guangdong Provincial Party Committee, etc. Deng was arrested in Shanghai, and died a martyr at Yuhuatai, Nanjing in Jiangsu Province. The poet’s posthumous works include A Brief History of the Chinese Workers’ Movement andA Collection of Deng Zhongxia.（劉頤琳譯）

Lake Cavehall rolls afar in blue;
In five days we make crossings two.
The snowy waves surge to the sky;
The demons dark in anger cry.
What epoch are we in today?
The wolves and tigers bar the way
Let’s wipe them out, give them a blow;
I’ll go on my way, now I go.

The clouds like fire the skyline gild.
