The "My China Story" International Short Video Competition was first launched in September 2018. Held annually, it aims to create an authoritative brand of "Foreigners' Recording of China". It serves as an open platform to promote exchanges among people from all over the world, showing foreigners' unique perspectives as they perceive and record their experiences in China.
“第三隻眼看中國”國際短視頻大賽於2018年9月正式啓動,每年一屆,旨在建設最權威的“老外拍中國”活動品牌,搭建開放的全球創作者交流平台,展示外國人觀察中國的獨特視角,記錄外國人行走中國的精彩歷程。
In 2022, the Competition received 65,000 short videos submitted and more than 100 million views. Nearly 4,000 of the videos met the precise requirements of the Competition. The videos came from more than 70 countries, including the United States, Brazil, Finland, the United Kingdom, Russia, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Poland, Japan, Myanmar, Saudi Arabia, and other countries. Among all these works, the video about the Dragon Boat Festival from Zhengzhou in Henan was highly praised by the organizing committee, and became a winner of the Outstanding Award.
本屆大賽共徵集到各類短視頻65000部,投稿總播放量超過1億,完全契合大賽主題與要求的短視頻作品近4000部,作品覆蓋美國、巴西、芬蘭、英國、俄羅斯、德國、法國、意大利、西班牙、波蘭、日本、緬甸、沙特等全球五大洲70多個國家。在頒獎台上,來自河南鄭州的《一葉粽子香,日子到端陽》獲得大賽組委會的高度讚譽,喜捧優秀作品獎。
Behind every success is hard effort. In 2022, WhereZhengzhou, a city outreach brand of Zhengzhou, has invested a lot in running the video series "Foreigners in Zhengzhou" about Chinese festivals. The video series introduces the Spring Festival, the Lantern Festival, the Qixi Festival and the Dragon Boat Festival.
